Mr. Solar® is collecting real-world examples of solar power doing useful work in the field. If you spot a solar-powered sign, light, camera, gate, weather station, monitoring station, traffic platform, marine system, telecom site, or other practical solar application, Sunny wants to see it.
Our full submission form is coming soon. In the meantime, you can email your photo or video directly to Mr. Solar.
What to Include
Please include as much of the following information as you can:
- Your name
- Your email address
- What you saw
- Where you saw it, such as city, state, business name, road, park, marina, or nearest landmark
- The approximate date you saw it
- Whether you took the photo or video yourself
- Whether you would like public credit if we feature your submission
- Whether we should avoid publishing the exact location
Photo and Video Tips
- Please send the original photo or video file when possible.
- Avoid screenshots if you can.
- Short video clips are welcome.
- Please do not trespass or enter restricted areas to capture a photo or video.
- Do not put yourself or others at risk while recording.
Permission to Share
By sending your photo or video to Mr. Solar®, you confirm that you took the photo or video yourself, or that you have permission to share it. You also grant Mr. Solar® permission to use, edit, repost, and publish your submitted media on its website, social media channels, YouTube, marketing materials, and related promotional content, with or without public credit unless otherwise requested.
Mr. Solar® may choose not to publish exact location details for sensitive sites, private property, critical infrastructure, or other locations where a general description is more appropriate.
