OutBack Power GS4048A-01 Radian Series Grid/Hybrid™ 4000VA, 48VDC, 120/240VAC Full-Flexibility Grid-Interactive/Off-Grid Inverter/Charger

The OutBack Power Radian Series GS4048A-01 4000VA, 48VDC, 120/240VAC Grid/Hybrid Inverter can provide off-grid power, grid backup power, or grid-interactive service anywhere in the United States - or anywhere else on the planet for that matter! Combined with a battery bank (batteries sold separately), the GS4048A-01 can provide power for your off-grid cabin or facility. When connected to the grid, it can also work, in concert with a battery bank, to provide emergency backup power during a power outage. Finally, the GS4048A-01 can be used in grid-tie applications, including netmetering arrangements where excess power is sold to the electric utility.

Engineered to make system design and installation faster and easier, Radian Series inverters feature advanced battery charging capability that supports rapidly developing battery technologies, such as lithium-ion. Also, these inverters include built-in battery charging capability that kicks in whenever solar and wind inputs are minimized by inclement weather or slack winds and a generator has to be used to top off batteries.

The GS4048A-01 replaces the GS4048A model but is essentially the same inverter. The only difference is that the GS4048A-01 conforms to the new UL 1741 SA certification requirement as defined in California's Rule 21. Certifications also include CSA C22.2 No. 107.1 for Canada, and IEC 62109-1 compliance to meet PV safety and emission standards and can be installed anywhere in the United States, including Hawaii, and worldwide.
