Overview
The OutBack EnergyCell® 6 V 525 Ah (Group L16) is a rugged flooded (FLA) deep-cycle battery engineered for renewable energy and off-grid applications. It features thick plates for long cycle life, added electrolyte headspace to extend watering intervals, and seamless compatibility with OutBack system components for dependable storage in demanding sites.

Robust deep-cycle plates and heavy-duty interconnects support repeated cycling and high surge loads. The case provides generous electrolyte headspace and bayonet caps for easier maintenance. Stainless hardware and top-terminal layout simplify installation and service.
Operation & Maintenance
Follow OutBack’s absorb/float/equalize set-points and temperature compensation for optimum life. Equalize about every 30 days (or every 14 days when regularly cycling below 50% SoC). Maintain electrolyte above plates and avoid extended storage at low state of charge.
