Disconnects

More technically known as "electrical disconnects", a Disconnect component in the context of a solar PV electric system is the device that is used to disconnect power from the PV system to the loads in the home or business.  This device is necessary when maintenance is being conducted in order to eliminate the possibility of electrical shock.  It is also useful in emergencies, like a severe storm or to firefighters in the event of a fire.
