Industrial Solar Power Systems
We specialize in solar power systems for oil and natural gas pipeline monitoring and automation systems, telecommunications industry, solar-powered traffic signals, water pumping, off-grid residential electricity, remote instrumentation, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and Remote Telemetry Units (RTUs), solar sign and monument lighting, and remote gates. We also carry high-end residential solar power systems and components including solar panels, charge controllers, inverters, batteries, and accessories.
To make finding the best system for your needs faster and easier, we provide an online sizing program to determine the amount of solar power you'll need for your particular application.

Residential Grid-Tie Solar Power Systems
"Grid-tie" residential solar power systems connect directly into your electric company's power grid. During the day, your solar power system is generating electricity that is directed onto the main grid, sort of like a small power station.
Then at night, you simply draw whatever power you need right back off the grid. The electricity you generated (or saved) during the day for others to use will be paid back to you in the evenings when lighting and other electrical loads are needed.
If your system is of sufficient size and produces more power during the day than you use in the evenings, you may actually end up with a surplus of electricity. In this case, many electric companies offer a program which is commonly known as "net metering" wherein, if your system produces more than you use, you will be paid a pre-determined amount of money for each kilowatt hour your system produces. Yes! You could actually get a check from your power company instead of sending them one!

Grid-Tied Solar Power Systems
These systems tie directly into your electric utility's power grid and excess power generated by your solar energy system is sent out onto the grid for others to use and in return your electricity provider will pay you for the wattage generated by your system. Systems include solar panels, inverter, and cables.
Off-Grid Solar Power Systems
The solar power systems provide electricity to stand alone remote cabins as well as remote telemetry and sensing equipment. Systems include solar panels, inverter, battery, and cables.
RV & Marine Solar Panel Kits
Complete solar power systems for your recreational vehicle or boat. Systems include solar panels, charge controller, RV Flush Mounts, and cables.
Solar Sign Lighting
Store sunlight during the day and use it at night to light your off-grid business or location signage. Our solar sign lighting kits include solar panel, battery, charge controller, nounting structures, wiring, lighting, and battery box.
About Solar Panels
What is a solar panel?
A solar panel (also known as a photovoltaic panel or photovoltaic module) is a device that converts photons of light from the Sun and converts them into an electric current.
How do solar panels work?
Solar panels convert photons of light into electrical current by a process known as the "photovoltaic effect". This essentially means that solar energy illuminating is causing electrons in a solar panel to become excited. These electrons are then directed into an electric current by a built-in electromagnetic field. This direct current electricity can be used to power many electric loads. It can also be "inverted" to alternating current electricity which can be used to power items in a home or business.
