These industrial-grade kits are great for the solar DIY enthusiast.  Also great for school science projects and demonstrations of how solar energy works.  Great for renewable energy interpretive center and museum display demos. 

These DIY solar panel starter kits can be used in a variety of ways from recharging the batteries that provide DC power to the lights and radio or computer in your off-grid cabin or outbuilding where AC power is not available.  These kits can also be used to trickle charge the batteries aboard your boat or RV as well as keeping batteries topped off for machines that are idle most of the time including like a collector or second car, a motorcycle, outboard motor boat batteries, riding lawn mowers, and more.

These kits feature industrial-grade components including a solar panel, a charge controller to regulate the energy coming from the solar panel to the battery, and the wiring needed to connect everything together.  Batteries are not part of the starter kit but battery options are available for an additional cost.
