Hi, I am Chief of a fire department. I am looking at putting solar panals onto my command vehicles so I can leave my laptops on in the vehicle at all times. This is so I dont have to boot up the laptop everytime I am responding to a call. Our laptops have alot of information in them about the call we are responding to. Alot of times the laptop is not done booting up before I arrive on location. We also have a mapping system in them that would help drastically if we were able to keep the laptops on all the time without worring about the batteries being dead in the vehicle.
I am new to the solar thing so I am looking for help.
Thank You

So are you looking for a solar solution to charge the vehicle batteries or to run the pc devices independantly from the vehicle?
